Sazerac Cocktail Serves 1

  • 2 ounces Sazerac Rye Whiskey
  • ½ ounces Stirrings Simple Syrup
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • Pernod or Grande Absinthe (or Herbsaint)
  • For garnish: lemon slice


Give a chilled glass of Absinthe (or Herbsaint) rinse and set aside. Stir the other ingredients in a mixing glass, strain into the chilled glass and garnish.
