Cheesy Nacho Dip Difficulty: Beginner  |  Prep Time: 25 Minutes  |  Serves 4-6

  • 16 oz Velveeta cheese (or 2 8 oz packages)
  • Italian sausage (spicy or mild)
  • 1 can Rotel Original
  • 1 tbsp Frank‚Äôs Red Hot Sauce (optional)

Begin by browning the Italian sausage in a medium-sized frying pan. As the sausage is browning, add the Velveeta to a medium-sized sauce pan and over medium-low heat begin to melt the cheese. Drain the can of Rotel and add the whole can to the sausage, combining thoroughly. Once the sausage and Rotel are fully mixed and heated through, drain the mixture and add it to the melting Velveeta. Stir together, adding the optional hot sauce if a spicier dip is desired, and continue to heat over medium-low heat until all cheese has melted completely. Transfer the now ready dip to a warm serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips, corn chips, or plain potato chips.
