Cooking School Assistant Principle Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

Cooking School Assistant Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Flexible schedule- evenings and weekend availability a must, but our classes also take place during weekday daytime. The more flexible you are, the more shifts we can offer.
  • Shifts average 5-6 hours, average 3 shifts per week. Weekly shifts varies. Daytime and evening shifts are available, plus some weekends.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to customer service.
  • Required ability to lift 30 pounds. Physical stamina and endurance – ability to stand and walk for 6 hours
  • Solid foundation in culinary terms, knife skills, and techniques
  • Able to follow instructions and established procedures.

Maintenance supervisor

This position reports to the Chief Operations Officer.

This position is on site no remote work.

Pay rate depending on experience $95-$105K

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

· Knowledge of refrigeration: repair fan motors, maintain all condensate drains/pans/evaporators.

· Clean all condensers.

· Thermostat and expansion valve replacement

· Coordinate and accompany all service provider technicians

· HVAC: Filter, belt, and shim replacement. Grease nipple lubrication. Condenser fin, cleaning and duct/ grate cleaning.

· Plumbing: Hydro jetting, snaking, washers, small leak repairs, along with drain epoxying/maintenance.

· Keep equipment food safe with ergonomic maintenance.

· Establish a janitorial checklist by position with standards for all activities and manage them. (This would include in house and out of house.)

· Manage all ¼ ly annual & 5 year fire sprinkler inspections and remediation.

· Be able to manage all chemical applications, grease interceptor pump outs and grease trap for sewers.

· Be able to manage all maintenance and exercisers for emergency generators.

· Recruit, organize, and schedule staff.

· Manage and competitively contract all sanitation supplies.

· Manage compliance based upon historical fire inspection walkthroughs.

Summary/Objective 

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of Draegers’ business goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

Summary:

The Payroll and Human Resources Coordinator will support the Payroll and Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director and the with all administrative duties and corporate initiatives. This will be a variety of HR activities and programs involving benefits, staffing, training, payroll and workplace safety. This individual will have frequent interaction with the owners and employees and will report to the Payroll and Human Resources Manager in our South San Francisco office. No remote work.

Pay rate: $31/hour – $35/hour DOE.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in processing the organization's payroll and collect payroll data to maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Set up and follow up on employee-required training.
  • Set up and maintain employees' personnel files.
  • Data entry and run reports for various departments as required.
  • Set up and follow up employee eligibility for the safety shoe policy.
  • Process uniform orders including reviewing the weekly invoices.
  • On-boarding new hires including paperwork and reporting to EDD, union and managers.
  • Set up calendar reminders and follow up with employees for future benefit programs, required training, and performance reviews.
  • Personnel file maintenance
  • Coordinate all leaves of absences with appropriate communication and correspondence
  • Coordinate Garnishments, Levies, Unemployment, and Subpoenas in Payroll system.
  • Coordinate all Worker’s Compensation claims & Return-to-Work Program
  • Provide paperwork and review results for new employees’ background checks and drug testing and report concerns to management.
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data
  • Participate in problem-solving and special projects within the department.
  • Keeps abreast of changes in HR law to continue to maintain compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (includes the following but not limited to):

  • Manages in execution, training and design of HACCP, GMP and SSOP programs and leads HACCP Team.
  • Lead, development and coach the QA Plant team, including direct reports
  • Implements Draeger’s quality assurance programs for the plant and third-party warehouses to ensure compliance with FSMA and GFSI requirements.
  • Manages Supplier Approval Program via document management SG software Manages 3rd Party Certifying Standards and Programs including GMP, GFSI, Non-GMO Project, Organic, California State Health, FDA. USDA.
  • Manages daily approval, troubleshooting, supervision and development of all Compliance and Quality Assurance Activities.
  • Manages Food Science Lab GLPs, SOPs, Inventory
  • Manage Monthly Self-Audit team and coordinate monthly audit corrective action task list to meet 3rd party and customer standards
  • Manages in design, implementation and execution of strategy to meet Third Party Food Safety and Customer Audit Standards
  • Manages with Plant Manager to accomplish Environmental Monitoring Program including Pest Control, Listeria and Bacterial Monitoring, Water Supply.
  • Works closely with Plant Manager and Kitchen Production Manager to assure all SSOPs, chemicals and practices are in compliance to accomplish all 3rd Party Standards.
  • Manages Recall and Traceability Program.
  • Serves as Head of Recall Team.
  • Implements program training to continually improve our Mock Recall Performance and Traceability integrity.
  • Expands scope of QA program by identifying new opportunities for improvement of products and their production processes with metric-based approaches
  • Presents Quarterly Reports to Executive Management and Ownership Train personnel in sensory and QC evaluation of all products and developing training materials
  • Participate on QC panels for new products, raw materials and WIP
  • Assists with R&D trials / test kitchen related to continuous process improvement, shelf life studies and new product developments
  • Manages budget for QC supplies, Pest Control, GMP, Janitorial Supplies, Lab Supplies and employs continuous improvement in cost savings.
  • Manages Departmental Metrics and KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators ) to measure performance of individuals and teams.
  • Mentor and build talent / team for Quality Assurance and Production staff.
  • Provide performance reviews at least annually.
  • Assists R&D and Production team during Commercialization and R&D Trials Participate in management and production team meetings / presentations.
  • Assist in training personnel on quality guidelines, safety and production SOPs.

Required Knowledges:

  • Managing and troubleshooting Microsoft: Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP.
  • Participate in the migration of on-premise Hyper-V servers and applications to Microsoft Azure, AWS and G-suite to Office 365.
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, configure and maintain equipment including Microsoft and Apple laptops, desktops, tablets, Mobile Phones and other devices for end users; this includes hardware and common windows operating systems and applications
